Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how fansleads (“fansleads,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you use our website, platform, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide. Account details (such as name and email address), profile information, project descriptions, messages, and any content you submit through the Services.
  • Identity verification information. If you apply to work as a virtual assistant and choose to verify your identity, you may send us a photo of a government issued ID and a photo of yourself holding it. We use these only to confirm your identity so we can show a verification badge on your profile. We never publish these images, never share them with clients, and never show any details from them. They are held in private storage that only our team can open, and we delete them once verification is complete or if you ask us to.
  • Transaction information. Details related to purchases and packages. Paid plans are arranged with us directly and invoiced outside the platform, so we do not collect or store your payment card details and nothing is charged automatically.
  • Automatically collected information. Device, browser, IP address, usage data, and similar technical information, including through cookies and comparable technologies.
  • Information from third parties. Information from authentication, hosting, and analytics providers that help us operate the Services.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
  • Create and manage accounts and facilitate connections between clients and assistants;
  • Process transactions and send related communications;
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
  • Monitor, detect, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. How We Share Information

We may share information:

  • With service providers who perform services on our behalf (such as authentication, hosting, and analytics);
  • With other users as necessary to provide the Services (for example, sharing relevant details between a client and an assistant to enable a project). We never share identity verification images or any details from them with other users;
  • When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of fansleads, our users, or others;
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, or during negotiations of such transactions.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, measure performance, and improve your experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect functionality.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

Identity verification images are treated separately and kept only as long as needed to complete verification. They are stored privately, are never published or shared with other users, and can only be opened by our team through links that expire. You can ask us to delete them at any time by contacting us.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
